Custom domains

Serve a space from your own hostname with managed verification and TLS.

Connect a domain

  1. Add the hostname
Open the space or organization domain controls and enter the exact hostname.
  2. Publish the DNS records
Add the ownership-verification record and route record shown by Fork.
  3. Verify
Fork checks ownership, activates routing, and obtains a TLS certificate.

Routing and identity

A custom hostname routes to the same live space and follows its access policy. Fork-managed services continue to identify the calling space from private network identity, so service installation and database scope do not change when a visitor uses a custom domain.

Domain status

Domain records move through verification and certificate provisioning before becoming active. Removing the domain, deleting the space, or losing DNS ownership suspends the route. Reverify after intentional DNS changes.
