Operate

History and snapshots

Automatic checkpoints, immutable previews, retained agent work, and explicit restore points.

Automatic checkpoints

Fork checkpoints file-changing MCP and native remote-development work automatically. Agent runs also retain bounded history so the control panel can reconnect to active work and inspect completed changes without depending on one browser tab.

Immutable previews

A checkpoint can have a read-only preview at a commit hostname. Fork boots a disposable copy, strips credentials and cookies, and permits only safe read requests. Use previews for review; they are not writable staging environments.

Restore deliberately

The MCP can list snapshots, create an explicit named save point, and restore a selected snapshot. Restore replaces the current workspace state, so confirm the exact snapshot ID and make sure important later work is preserved elsewhere.
